DORO PESCH Unveils Signature Wine, Champagne

December 10, 2013

GTHE ROLLING STONES, AC/DC, MOTÖRHEAD and German metal queen Doro Pesch — they all have produced their fair share of outstanding rock and roll. Yet another thing those artists have in common is their very own brand of wine.

THE ROLLING STONES' red wine Forty Licks, the MOTÖRHEAD Rosé and AC/DC Shiraz have been on the market for a while now and are successfully distributed by the Düsseldorf, Germany-based company Metal + Wine. Now Doro is proud to present two very special rock and roll drinks to commemorate her "30 Years Strong And Proud" tour, during which she is celebrating 30 years of being on stage.

"We specially went to a great old wine region in Spain to pick the right product for me," Doro explains. "I discovered a very fine red wine there." And she named it after her great ballad "Herzblut". At this winery, the singer also decided to create the world's first-ever rock and roll champagne, an excellent Cava, that will be introduced to the marked under the label "Hero", a song from Doro's latest album, "Raise Your Fist".

Commented Doro: "It was my wish for my 30-year stage anniversary, which I will be celebrating with the grand double finale on May 2 and 3, 2014 in my hometown Düsseldorf, to present unique drinks to the fans, that represent my own taste and quality standard."
